Vintage Fleece Program
The Vintage Fleece program was the starting point of the Spring Summer 2018 season. It came from the idea of trying to create the perfect vintage terry piece, that would look sun drenched. These products take cues from 1950’s era Champion fleece, incorporated into our line in a modern way.
Made start-to-finish in Los Angeles. We started by creating a custom blend fleece with an intermingle face and cotton back to mimic vintage knitting techniques.
The intermingle face allows for a lightweight garment with slight fading and natural contrast between the body and rib.
Traditional cotton cord knitted on a vintage machine.
Inside-out flatlock stitching.
100% cotton fleeced back. Fleeced terry commonly has a poly blend back. Our Vintage Fleece program uses a cotton back so the washing and drying process produces a unique texture and feel, and the garment feels substantial.
